Fathers Making Progress

Fathers Making Progress (FMP) started as an independently funded movement almost 20 years ago on the Northside of Milwaukee. Brought together by our founder...a group of concerned fathers came together to address the needs of fathers in our city. Our alumni and FMP originals wanted to eradicate the barriers preventing men from being the best fathers they can be, so they decided to share knowledge and resources. In 2020, during the pandemic, we officially incorporated as a 501.c3 non-profit to better serve the fathers of Milwaukee. The organizations’ overall goal is to inspire and empower fathers ending negative generational cycles and building new ones. Our innovative programs have consistently transformed our community, achieving nearly double the impact each year since 2021.
